Prayer for the Ukraine
 
Good and merciful God
 you are our heavenly Father, you know and love us perfectly.
That is why we surrender to your hands with confidence.
We ask you for a peaceful solution to the difficult situation in the Ukraine.
We ask you for the world's statesmen to be on the side of the good
 and to find the strength to seek mutual agreement and reconciliation.
We also ask you for all war victims, orphans, widows
 and refugees. Embrace them in your tender arms.
Let us spread peace around us.
Let us not be indifferent towards each other
 and forgive one another.
